Celebrating 10 Moo-vellous years
The Amberley Cow Hunt
It’s back and this year celebrating its 10th Anniversary…
On Saturday 5th & Sunday 6th May once again the village of Amberley and parts of the surrounding common will see the first stampede of cows as the moo-vellous Amberley Parochial School Cow Hunt returns.
As well as spotting all the ‘amoosingly’ named cows, there will be the now infamous Vintage tea tent on the school green, complete with a sumptuous array of homemade cakes and wonderful views.
Face painting and other children’s activities will be the order of the day on the green along with the fabulous Cow Hunt quiz, a visit from Bath based charity “Send a Cow’, whom we support each year, and maybe a surprise or two, to mark our 10th anniversary.
Quiz sheets and trail maps are available from the start of the trail.
Prizes this year include tickets to Chalfest & Giffords Circus
Funds raised go to help the school, as well as Bath based charity Send a Cow, which provides livestock for families in Africa.
