A TYPICAL DAY AT HOLIDAY CLUB
The ages & interests of the children and the weather can influence the activities but below is an example timetable of the fun your child will have during a day at Holiday Club.
8.45am-9.45am – Arrive, welcome and settle in, craft bag decorating, introductory craft activity, board games and lots of chatting
9.45am Introductions, meet each other and discuss the day of fun ahead. Warm up fitness activity and ice breaking team games in the sports hall
10.30am – Snack break & game such as kids countdown, bingo or a team quiz
11am Specialist sports skills on the Astro Turf or in the hall
12pm – Lunch time and free play with games
1pm Craft activity which will vary from woodwork, clay, decopatch, baking, planting, painting or block printing.
2pm – Snack break & board games
2.30pm – Closing drama game, yoga activity or ‘Question of the Day’ in the hall
3pm Gather belongings and first home time collection
3.30pm Big screen movie chill and hot chocolate in the hall
5.30pm Second home time collection

WHY CHOOSE DAZZLE?
A DAZZLE Holiday Club offers fun, active, creative days for children.
We aim for a personal ‘home from home’ experience with small groups allowing us to connect and develop positive relationships.
Every day is different and includes a variety of structured activities including team sports, drama games, plastic free craft activities, yoga inspired games and silly fun.
Whatever your child enjoys there is something for them, as well as opportunities to try lots of new activities, develop new interests and skills within a caring and inclusive environment.
The children are encouraged to join in with all of the activities but we want the children to feel at home, relax and hang out with their friends.
There is a team of experienced, enthusiastic and engaging team leaders ready to entertain, inspire, guide and keep the kids active and happy.
We are very lucky to have the sole use of Minchinhampton Youth Centre. The green spaces surrounding the centre and on-site astro turf offer lots of opportunities for secure outdoor activities.
The centre building has a selection of areas including a full size sports hall and cosy sofas for relaxing.
There is ample free parking for safer, stress free drop off and collection.
At Dazzle we are aiming towards plastic free with craft activities and equipment.

Terms
*Please note we cannot accept your child before 8.45am
*The Dazzle Holiday Clubs are for children aged 5-11
*There is a maximum of 20 places available each day and the club works to a ratio of 1:5
*Water will be available at all times
*Please provide your child with enough snacks and drinks and a named water bottle
*Please bring waterproof clothing and wellington boots for all weather activities
*For outdoor games please also bring/wear extra trainers and warm clothing. The venue is required to have windows open for constant air flow. Your child will not be permitted to participate in outdoor activities if not in suitable clothing or footwear.
*Dazzle is a ‘techno free’ club so please do not bring along any phones or games
*Your child is welcome to bring a board game to play or a book to read
*Whilst at Dazzle we ask children to respect one another, use socially acceptable behaviour, choose and participate in a variety of activities, ask for help if needed and enjoy their time at the club.
*If your child usually requires extra support please contact Sarah at Dazzle to discuss this before booking a place, thank you.
*During the Holiday Club the community centre doors will be locked. If you need to contact us during the day please text or call 07979848280.
*Please hand any medical items such as inhalers to a member of the Dazzle team upon arrival.
