Class, Party & Course Planning

Topics covered and discussed will include: Structure, preparation and variety of a lesson or a series of lessons, birthday parties, engagement of the children, appropriate themes, music and language, responsibilities. You will leave with manuals on lesson and party planning, drama, movement and voice games and a list of resource materials.

Ongoing Support

There will be times when you need support. It may be a behavioural or safety issue. Maybe you could just do with some encouragement. Dazzle is available to give you ongoing support and encouragement whether by phone or email. If you would like more training this can be arranged through work shadowing at Dazzle classes.

Work Shadowing Taster Days

If you would like to teach children, but have little or no experience. Or you are not quite sure if you have what it takes, and then a taster day is the answer for you. You simply spend a day with me at Dazzles pre-school classes, observing, co-teaching and asking questions. You will receive honest and constructive feedback. Work Shadowing on Dazzles Pre-School 5 week courses ‘Croga Tots’ and ‘Dazzle Tots’ is available to continue your training and build your confidence.

March 2018-Training Weekend for ages 5-11 years which will include ‘Wake Up Club’, ‘Dance’ and ‘Drama’ classes, ‘Themed’ and ‘Dance’ Birthday Parties.

Working with Sarah has helped me to develop my choreography skills in a range of dance styles. It has also allowed to me to improve my teaching style, and taught me how to improve relationships with the children to ensure that they benefit fully from the dance opportunities they’re being offered at Dazzle. I now run a Dazzle Dance Parties business and teach dance in schools, clubs and PE lessons whilst studying at University.

Being a Dazzle trainee has allowed me to build on my leadership skills in a fun and creative environment. Sarah is brilliant at giving the trainees responsibility within Dazzle whilst also offering support and guidance so you never feel that you are working in the unknown. I have carried the confidence and leadership skills to addressing an audience of NGOS in New York at the United Nations and plan on developing these skills further in order to become a human rights lawyer in the future.
