Ages 3-5
Yoga Tots 1.15pm-1.45pm
Relaxed 30 minute classes exploring themes through imagination, storytelling and a variety of fun and interesting stretches and moves inspired by traditional yoga poses and lots of new ones! Aimed at developing self confidence, creativity, self expression, coordination and improve concentration. Themes such as The Ocean, Fairies, Outer Space and The Circus will be explored in the first course.
Dazzle Tots 2pm-2.45pm
Creative sessions exploring a theme through games, drama, music, movement, song and craft activities. Aimed at gently encouraging and developing self confidence, independence, fine motor skills. co-ordination and teamwork. As the group arrive there is a game or activity to play and 15 minutes at the end to play, dance, chat and be silly. The aim is to make the sessions as enjoyable as possible so everyone can relax and have fun.
Ages 5-11
Dance Drop off anytime from 3.30pm / finish time 4.45pm
Please note this course is open to children from any school and the principal activities will not start until all the group has arrived. An extra 15 minutes has been added to allow for children travelling a little further!
Each session starts with upbeat, movement warm up games. With a different dance style each week ranging from Tango, Streetdance, Jazz, Cheerleading and Creative Free Dance, these unique courses keep the group interested, focused and allow the children to add their individual style to structured routines developing new skills, fitness, coordination and teamwork. Every session finishes with a 15 minute relaxation and mat work.
Beginners Tap 5pm-5.45pm
If you would like to try tap dancing come along to Dazzles introduction to tap dance course. This unique course will explore the basic steps, rhythms and beats through exercises to upbeat music. The group will develop simple routines to showcase at the end of the final class. Used tap shoes are also available to purchase at the Dazzle shop with all money donated to supportingdalitchildren.
